The new BMW 1-Series coupe is a fun, nimble, and compact sports car. The 128i comes with an inline-six cylinder engine putting out 230 hp and is also available in SULEV (Super Low Emissions Vehicle) trim for CARB compliant states. The more powerful 135i has a turbocharged version of the inline-six that is boosted to make 300 hp.Being from BMW, all 1-Series cars are drivers’ cars. The default transmission is a smooth shifting six-speed manual. For 128i drivers who don’t wish to work a clutch pedal in traffic may opt for a six-speed automatic, with a 7-speed double-clutch automatic being an option in the 135i.

Features included on the 128i trim of the 2011 BMW 1 Series Coupe are high-gloss black trim, chrome-plated exhaust tips, and halogen front fog lights. A 230-horsepower 6 cylinder engine comes standard, too. 
Drivers will enjoy the 2011 BMW 135i because of the power and nimble handling. The 135i gets a horsepower advantage over the 128i with its 3.0-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC), 24-valve inline turbocharged 300-hp 6-cylinder engine. The same 6-speed manual transmission found on the 128i is standard on the 135i, but the 135i has an option for a fast-shifting 7-speed double-clutch automatic transmission. 
The 2011 BMW 128i SULEV is a sporty coupe sure to please any driving enthusiast. It has a 3.0-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC), 24-valve inline 230-hp 6-cylinder engine. The default transmission is a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic is an available option.
